1. Obesity: obese people are at more risk of developing the condition of high BP.

3. Lack of exercise: it is one of the most important factors in contributing high blood pressure. Usually people suffer from obesity due to sedentary lifestyle.

4. Birth control pills: intake of birth control pills also contributes in happening of high blood pressure.

5. Sodium sensitivity. Some people are very sensitive to salt. If their consumption of salt increases then the risk of developing high BP also increases.

6. Medications: certain drugs are also responsible for high BP.

Some of the symptoms of high BP are dizziness, nausea and vomiting, chest pain, blurred vision, headache, chest pain and shortness of breath.

High blood pressure can be controlled with the help of home remedies. Some of the important home remedies for high BP:

1. Avoid eating too much salty and spicy food.

2. Intake of honey is too much effective in treating this condition. You can mix honey in the juice of lemon or onion. It is beneficial in treating high BP.

3. Increase the intake of plenty of green and leafy vegetables as well as fruits in your daily diet. Some of the recommended fruits and vegetables are guavas, oranges, banana, bitter gourds, drumsticks, yellow pumpkin etc. these are responsible in lowering the BP.

4. Avoid the intake of red meat completely. Try to avoid chocolates, sweets, smoking and alcohol also.

5. Intake of spinach and carrot juice is effective in lowering the BP.

6. It is said that ginger and cumin seeds are very effective home remedy in treating the condition of high blood pressure. For this you have to make powder of two tea spoon of cumin seed and mix it with the juice of ginger and honey. Take it regularly.

7. Doing regular exercise is recommended by doctors to lower your BP. It will also help you to reduce your weight.
