Getting Rid Of Man Boobs - Why Exercise May Be The Answer

Nevertheless you can lose your man boobs, and one way you can do that is through exercise.

Some cases of man boobs are because of hormonal issues, ie due to increased estrogen in the body and reduced testosterone levels, but sometimes you develop these larger than normal breasts simply because you put on weight. In which case you should be able to get a flat chest again simply by doing lots of exercise.

So the first thing you need to do is to lose weight, and that means eating a healthy diet and doing lots of cardio workouts. You need to burn off as many calories as you can and the best way to do that is by doing high impact exercises such as running or cycling. Swimming is another option, although you may understandably be too self-conscious of your man boobs to start off with this form of exercise.

The fact is that if you can get your weight down, then you should start to lose weight from all areas of your body, and that includes your chest area. So if you remain disciplined and stick to a good exercise program you should start to see your man boobs reduce in size.

You can also consider doing a few other exercises as well. One exercise I can recommend is the bench press, where you get a barbell and then lie face up on a bench, pushing the barbell towards the ceiling until your arms are fully extended. This exercise will develop your chest muscles and leave them looking muscular rather than fatty.

Another great exercise is the simple press up. You don't need to be a member of a gym to do this. You can do it anywhere. As long as you maintain good form, you will work your chest muscles every time you perform this simple exercise.

These two exercises will not necessarily help you to lose your man boobs when you are first starting out. However they are great exercises to do once you have lost some fat in your chest area after doing a lot of cardio work because they will give your chest much greater definition.

There is a big difference between man boobs and pecs, and it's the latter that are obviously more attractive. So as I say, if you do lots of physical exercise in order to lose weight, and then do press ups and / or bench press exercises, you should be able to successfully eliminate your man boobs.
